【Easy Disassembly and Cleaning, Intuitive Operation】

Drawing from his personal experience, Who-Cafe Owner shared his thoughts on three electric grinders from Femobook: the A4Z, A5, and A68.

The A4Z features the same burr set as the 1Zpresso ZP6, designed specifically for pour-over. Who-Cafe Owner praised its grind quality and consistency. The A5, similar in size to the A4Z, supports both pour-over and espresso grinding.

However, he noted that for espresso, the grinding speed was a bit slow during espresso grinding, which didn’t quite match his personal brewing preference[1].

As for the A68—designed and assembled locally in Taiwan—it’s the largest of the three, featuring an aluminum alloy body and a magnetic modular build. Most components can be disassembled quickly, making it easier to clean and recalibrate[2].

Who-Cafe Owner also pointed out that coffee grounds are prone to absorbing moisture and odors. If left uncleaned, this can lead to mold or flavor deterioration. That’s why ease of cleaning is a key factor in his grinder selection.

1. To balance grind efficiency and flavor quality, internal testing confirmed that pairing this burr set with a fixed RPM retains optimal bean characteristics. Grinding 20g for espresso takes approximately 40 seconds, though this may vary depending on bean type, grind setting, and roast level.

Who-Cafe Owner highlighted that the A68 automatically stops when it detects all beans have been ground. It also includes a magnetic brush inside the dosing ring, which allows users to easily sweep out residual grounds with a simple twist—a convenience he greatly appreciates.

In addition, the A68 features a 58mm magnetic dosing cup, making it compatible with standard espresso portafilters. While the grinder is on the heavier side, it’s designed for stationary use. Who-Cafe Owner felt the overall design and performance provided a highly satisfying experience.

【Safety-Oriented Design – Disassembly Without Worry】

Who-Cafe Owner noted that the A68 adopts a sliding hopper design, which prevents accidental hand contact with the burr set. A safety mechanism on the back also ensures the power remains off during disassembly, enhancing user safety.

He further shared that the grinder’s burr set is secured with a six-point bolt system, allowing for precise horizontal calibration. This leads to more consistent grind results—an uncommon feature in electric grinders currently on the market.
